Use private ip or the static ipv4 address that is different to your public ip Googling whats my ip does not work in direct connect=never has worked!! Private and public servers work fine after changing the port to 7777 in my UDKEngine.ini file:) If i leave UDKEngine.ini file set to port 27015=cancelled connect attempt/lan wont work and server list wont work? (date and time in steam server picture please change it back to port 7777 in UDKEngine.ini file= it works fine:) This screenshot was taken on same day as the steam server browser pic above= I been using this fix since the day VCD got multiplayer in VCD beta:)Īfter devs changed the port from 7777 to 27015 in old game update= The above fix is the same as Arma3 server fix but using vcd files and steam.exe along with adding a port to the firewall to fix it=hooray multiplayer works fine:)

Why do this=since it has block connection by default when friend trys to join your server windows firewall blocks the connection=cancelled connect attempt? In inbound and outbound rules rules add port 7777 to both inbound and outbound rules and tick box allow connection!!!
Im also using steam beta=it works better than normal steam does:)
